Lifetimes 2012 Adaptation Of Steel Magnolias On DVD This May

black-movies-steel-magnoliasLifetime’s Steel Magnolias will finally be available for fans to watch anytime. The DVD will be available for purchase from retailers on May 7 , according to Broadway World. The miniseries stars Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Adepero Oduye , Condola Rashad , Jill Scott, and Alfre Woodard who actually won a SAG Award (Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries) and an NAACP’s Image Award for Outstanding Actress for her portrayal of Ouiser. The film won TV movie also won Outstanding Television Movie, Mini-series or Dramatic Special at the NAACP Image Awards. It debuted on Lifetime back in October of 2012 to 6.5 million initial viewers.
