black-movies-annie-remake-quevenzhane-wallis-blallywood.comEarlier this week we reported that Quvenzhané Wallis will officially be playing the title role Will Smith’s Annie remake. Now that the most important casting decision has been made, the studio has chosen a release date for the film. It looks like Wallis fans will have to wait quite a while. December 25, 2014 is the date Sony has decided upon, according to Deadline.

The winter holidays are a big season for family Holiday films. The past year’s Christmas Day releases included Les Miserables and Django Unchained. It seems Hollywood has realized that these choices were somewhat bleak, because they’ve wised up and chosen to release Night At The Museum 3, another light film for the whole family, on the same day. These battle between the two films at the box office should be interesting, but Night At The Museum certainly has the edge. Which film do you think your family will be more likely to see during the 2014 holidays?
