Raven Symone On Broadway And Success “It’s About The Work”

by on April 22, 2012

Raven Symone is currently staring in the Broadway musical adaption of the beloved 1992 film, Sister Act. In an interview on the Huffington Post, she talks about everything from Vocal Preparation for the role, to her Work Ethic, To Whoopi Goldberg. When asked about how she has acheived so much success at the age of 26, Symone said:

The best advice that I can give is: It’s about the work. It’s really about you putting yourself into your work and your career and focusing on that, and not going for the shiny, fake gold teeth that you find out later are not real gold. Go for the long haul. And hopefully it works. I don’t talk about anything else but my work, and that’s what I’m doing and that’s what I portray.
