Dee Rees (Director of Pariah) Has Projects in Works
Dee Rees, director of last year’s film Pariah, Â has new projects lined up.
According to IndieWire:
” Earlier this year it was reported she was writing a new film entitled “Large Print,” about a recently divorced, mid-50s insurance adjuster, she’s got a thriller called “Bolo” she’s developing withFocus Features and she’s working on a project at HBO with Viola Davis. “
Most recently, she’s added on to her list a directing role in a film entitled “This Man, This Woman.” The film is getting off the ground and it may be a long while before fans are able to see it.
Dee Rees is certainly busy. With the positive attention Pariah received, should she have even more in the works than she does already? Will it take another critical success to keep fans seeing her work with consistency?
