“Savannah” Chiwetel Ejifor’s Other Slave Movie On DVD September 23rd
Chiwetel Ejifor is not afraid of being type cast as a slave. He’s appearing in two films in which he plays an American Civil-War era slave this year. The least anticipated is Savannah, in which Ejiofor plays more of a supporting role as a freed slave. He stars alongside Jim Caviezel as his chosen friend and companion. The unconventional relationship creates tension between Caviezels charter, Ward Allen, and the small minded southerners.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is the star of the more anticipated upcoming film, Â 12 Years As A Slave. It is interesting that Ejiofor would choose to play a slave in two separate movies, particularly so close to one another. The film is available on DVD September 23, 2013.
