R. Kelly To Take Trapped In The Closet To Broadway?
R. Kelly wants to bring the characters and plot of his Trapped In The Closet musical series to Broadway. On Monday he said he’s been made an offer to do just that.
In a quote found on Huffington Post, Kelly said of his music series:
“To transform it into a Broadway version, that’s what I’m working on”
and
“I want everybody to know I’ve got 85 chapters of Trapped in the Closet waiting in the studio for y’all. The chapters that are coming – the show, we call it – is going to exceed every chapter that you have ever seen.”
The newest chapters of Trapped In The Closet will show on the IFC channel this Friday. In the meantime, you can watch a clip that’s been released below:
