Harold Perrineau gave an interview to TVGuide in which he talks about his character on the FX show Sons of Anarchy. He made his debut on the season opener last Tuesday, September 11th.

His character on the show, Damon Pope, wants revenge after (spoiler) his daughters death. As he engages wtih the bike gang, he realizes he’s able to exploit business potential along the way. He get’s a little more entangled with the group. Perrineau addresses his characters motivations and mindset in this role.

On a lighter note, Perrineau, who is best known for his role as Michael on the ABC 6 season series Lost, says people frequently recognize him as that character.

“every day there’s at least five people who only say “Waaaaalt!”

This time, Haroldl Perrineau wants vengeance on the people who are responsible for the death of his daughter, rather than on those who took away his son. Perrieau’s new character is a little darker and angrier.

TVGuide asks him if people will be yelling something else at him after this role. Read the full interview to find out what he thinks.

Were you a fan of Harold Perrineau’s character on lost? If not, are you ready to give him a fresh chance in an entirely different role. Catch up on Sons of Anarchy (It’s on Netflix for your streamers!).
