Fans Must Say Goodbye Early – Season 3 Of Scandal Cut Short, Hiatus Till February 2014
Scandal fans will have to say goodbye to Scandal earlier than expected this season. ABC recently announced that the final 4 episodes have been cut from the end of season 3 of the series. Presumably this is due to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy, which won’t be written into the show according to the Huffington Post. Fans should stay encouraged. Writers will have to condense the plot into 18 episodes instead of 22. This is still a large amount of episodes. Breaking Bad had no more than 12-16 episode per season and fans were pretty darned happy, right? Fewer episodes can mean higher production quality, less filler, and a more intense pace if that’s even possible with this show.
Season 3 episode 10 aired on December 10th, 2013, and the show is now going into a hiatus. The final 8 episodes of Season 2 will resume February 27, 2014.
