The Trailer is Here: Tyler Perry Is Detective Alex Cross

The trailer has been released for an upcoming film in which Tyler Perry plays lead detective in best selling author James Patternson’s book based film Alex Cross.

Jame’s Pattersons star character, Alex Cross, was previously played by Morgan Freeman in Kiss The Girls and Along Came a Spider.  Morgan Freeman is passing the torch to Tyler Perry – same character, different story – like with the James Bond Franchise.

In this film, Alex Cross hunts down a clever serial killer. Check out the trailer below.

The film is scheduled to be released this fall on October 13th 2012.
