Lifetime’s The Gabby Douglas Story To Debut February 1st 2014

The Gabby Douglas Story, the much anticipated biopic based on the life of now 18-year-old Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, makes its world premiere on February 1, 2014 at 8/7c PM on Lifetime. The movie will repeat on Sunday February 2, 2014 at 9/8c PM – check the Lifetime website for more air dates and times. Regina King plays Gabby Douglas’ mother Natalie Hawkins,  Imani Hakim plays Gabby Douglas from ages 14-16 and Sydney Mikayla plays Gabby Douglas from ages 7-12). Gabby Douglas is credited as playing herself in the film, perhaps later in the film giving reflections, or perhaps doing her own stunts in competitions.
