3 Black Actors Receive Emmy Nominations For 2013

The 2013 Emmy nominations have been released. 3  Black actors have received norminations this year.

Kerry Washington (Scandal, ABC) was nominated in the category lead actress in a drama series for her role as Olivia Pope. Don Cheadle (House of Lies, Showtime) was nominated in the category of lead actor in a drama series. Finally, Alfre Woodard was nominated in the category of best supporting actress in a miniseries for her role in the 2012 remake of Steel Magnolias.

The Emmy’s will air Sunday, September 22nd 2013 at 8/7c pm.
