Upcoming Black Actor Michael B. Jordan Cast In Pretenders
Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights, Fruitvale) has been cast in an upcoming Josh Boone film titled Pretenders. No details are available about the film yet, but we know Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots will be co-starring in the film in major roles (OhNoTheyDidn’t).
Josh Boone is responsible for writing and directing Stuck In Love, and the upcoming, highly anticipated Fault In Our Stars flick based on the novel by John Green. Considering that the subject matter of these two other Boone projects are highly dramatic exploring internal conflict and external relationships of main characters, we may be able to make the same assumptions about Pretenders.Â
Michael B. Jordan can be seen alongside Zac Efron, Miles Teller, and Imogen Poots later this year in the comedy Are We Offically Dating, as well as the wide release of Fruitvale, which premiered at Sundance.
