T.D. Jakes Will Host Talk Show On BET Later This Year
The BET Television Network recently released a list of upcoming programming via press release. One of the newest shows will be a talk program to be hosted by T.D. Jakes. Currently the shows title is T.D. Jakes Presents, Mind, Body, & Soul. It will cover topics from health and wellness, to finance, to relationships, and will air every Sunday (PRNewsWire).
T.D. Jakes is one of the most well-known Black evangelists, and also works as a public speaker and life coach. He has been active in the entertainment world in recent years appearing in films such as Jumping The Broom, Woman, Though Art Loosed On The 7th Day, and Sparkle. His book Not Easily Broken was made into a movie directed by Bill Duke, and starring Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson, and Kevin Hart.
