BET Licenses Classic Black TV Shows To Rerun On Network

black-tv-shows-fresh-prince-family-matters-martinBET Networks has licensed a package of classic Black TV shows from Warner Brothers. The package includes favorites such as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Family Matters, Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show and The Wayans Bros. Airing rights for these shows were previously held by the television networks Nick-at-Nite, ABC Family, or MTV2. You may have seen some of these shows, like Martin, air on BET. However, the network’s new deal with Warner Brothers will give BET exclusive rights to these shows over the next few years. Family Matters has already begun airing on BET according to Sitcoms Online. These shows have been relatively easy to find on the tube when nigh-time surfing, but there’s something appealing about these favorites all being available from one channel. Especially since they are (wisely) not available on streaming services like Netflix. Which classic Black TV show are you the most inclined to watch on BET?
