black-actors-jesse-williams-bane31-Year-Old Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams is delving into fields other than acting. He’ll be narrating an audiobook that is due out April 16. The book, part of The Bane Chronicles, is titled What Really Happened In Peru. It’s a short story written by Cassandra Clare, author of The Mortal Instruments.

The book is aimed toward the teen and young adult audience . Here’s a summary posted on Examiner that may be difficult to understand if you’ve not read prior Cassandra Clare books:

There are good reasons Peru is off-limits to Magnus Bane. Follow Magnus’s Peruvian escapades as he drags his fellow warlocks Ragnor Fell and Catarina Loss into trouble, learns several instruments (which he plays shockingly), dances (which he does shockingly), and disgraces his host nation by doing something unspeakable to the Nazca Lines.

After that summary there is no doubt that this book is targeted toward the author’s existing fans. If you enjoyed The Mortal Instruments look forward to Williams’ voice on iTunes April 16.
