Watch New Promo Released For Being Mary Jane Starring Gabrielle Union

Last year BET revealed a project that would star Gabrielle Union as a TV news anchor juggling life, family, and being a successful, single Black female. The project was thought to be TV show, but later it was announced as a TV movie that would debut as a TV series if well received. The project was well received at the Urbanworld Film Festival, so it looks like it will be a series after all.
In addition to Gabrielle Union, it stars Omari Hardwick, Richard Roundtree, Lisa Vidal, and several more accomplished Black actors. The film was written by Girlfriends creator Mara Brock Akil and directed by her husband Salim Akil. The couple also worked on Sparkle and Jumping the Broom.

Today BET released a promo, but revealed no additional information. Its a 15 second clip that keeps things mysterious. Watch it below:
