For Better Or For Worse Moving From TBS To OWN

by on February 23, 2013

Tyler Perry’s sitcom, For Better Or Worse, which stars Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White, is moving from TBS to a new home. OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) has just announced that they will be adding the show to their new programming lineup. In addition to gaining rights to rerun all 45 episodes from season 1 and 2, it will be the exclusive place to watch the third season according to TVByTheNumbers.

When it was first announced that Tyler Perry would produce shows for Winfrey, it was said that his For Better Or Worse would remain on TBS. It’s a smart move by Winfery, whose network has suffered from low viewership, to steal away fans of an already established show.

Tyler Perry’s two entirely new shows currently being produced for the OWN network are titled Love Thy Neighbor, and The Haves and the Have Nots. Both new series will debut in May 2013. Read about them in this post.
