Andre Leon Talley, a 62-year-old editor for Vogue magazine, is crossing over from print to television for what looks to be a long term project. He’ll be hosting a late night talk show in the fashion of David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, and the like where he will interview celebrity guests.

You may have already seen Andre Leon on television judging contestants on America’s Next Top Model, or as himself in the Sex And The City movie. He’s hosted major red carpet events for E! as well.

Huffington Post has reported he is already working with the production company Electus to develop the show. The same production team attached to Andre Leon’s project produced the shows  Ugly Betty and The Office.

Marc Beckman of DMA United who brokered the deal said:

“We think a television platform is an ideal showcase for André’s personality to shine and bring together his amazing network of personal contacts, ranging from designers to musicians to politicians,”

No news on what television network this will air on. However, it appears the production company Electus has done work good enough for NBC. It would be nice to see such an original voice on a major broadcast network.
