Sneak Peak Of Jennifer Hudson’s Character In Smash
We’ve talked about Jennifer Hudson’s recurring guest role on Smash Season 2 which begins February 5th at 9/8c on NBC.  She will play Veronica Moore, a Broadway and Tony award winner, and may have a romance plot as well based on some photos.  NBC is reportedly trying to revamp their second season.
In the clip below, Hudson shows off her voice and is backed up by another former American Idol contestant, Katharine McPhee, who plays a central character on the show.
The awe and fawning over her singing comes off as very sappy in this clip. Maybe that’s just because we viewers already know she has a great voice. What are your thoughts on the clip?
