Isaiah Mustafa Of Old Spice Up For Drax The Destroyer?
Comic Book Movie has reported that Isaiah Mustafa is in the running for the role of Drax the Destroyer in the 2014 Marvel comic book based film Guardians Of The Galaxy. Drax’s abilities include super strength, flight, and the ability to shoot energy from his hands. Mustafa is well known as the star of the Old Spice commercials. His deep and colorful voice makes him well suited to portraying a comic book character.
Also in the running for the role are Brian Patrick Wade, and former wrestler Dave Bautista. It looks like the studio has chosen to do blind casting considering the ethnicities of the men in the running.
