The Queen Latifah Show – An Upcoming Daytime Talk Program
Queen Latifah will begin hosting her very own daytime talk show in Fall 2013. The show is to be titled The Queen Latifah Show, reports Deadline. It will air on the CBS network and will be produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Queen Latifah hosted a talk show about a decade ago from 1999 – 2001. Today she’s 11 years more popular. Still daytime TV is competitive. Â The newish Anderson Cooper talk show recently announced it would not be renewed after airing only 2 seasons despite Cooper’s enormous, loyal fan following.
Can Latifah can join the ranks of Ellen DeGeneres who has been a daytime talk leader for 10 consecutive seasons? Will she fill the void Oprah Winfrey left on daytime talk for a woman who represents the multicultural side of America?
