Watch Bow Wow 5 Days Week As New Host of 106 & Park
This week the BET press room revealed the new hosts of 106 & PARK will be Bow Wow, Ms. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty Da Prince. BET says they were thrilled when Bow Wow agreed to host. They believe the new additions will bring the show “spirit, fresh perspective and crazy fun.”
Bow Wow holds the record for the most appearances of a guest on the show, as well as some guest hosting credits. He told press:
“I am very excited to take on this new journey in my career with BET. I’m all about branding myself and not just in music, but in TV and movies,” said Bow Wow. “Everyone always wants to compare me to the Fresh Prince, well now they can call me the Fresh Prince of 106 & Park. Get ready for a whole new world.”
Remembering Bow Wow’s roles appearance in some recent films, Madea’s Big Happy Family, Lottery Ticket, and TV appearances on The Secret Life of The American Teenager have me wondering if he is putting his musical career on the backburner for a more general career as an “Entertainer.” When is the last time he put out a single?
