Zoe Saldana Takes Over For Mary J. Blige in Biopic
Zoe Saldana will be starring in an upcoming film about the life of Nina Simone. According to this Fox news article, back in 2010 Mary J. Bilge signed on to play the role of Nina Simone. The production process was uninterrupted due to lack of funding, and filming that was supposed to take place last year never happened. Mary J. Blige dropped out, and Saldana will take her place. Who knew Zoe Saldana was a singer?
