Waiting For Exhale Sequel To Be Written by Michael Elliott
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the scribe of the 2010 flick, Just Wright, has been chosen to work on the planned equal to Waiting To Exhale (1995). Terry McMillan, author of both the Waiting To Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back original novels, already wrote the initial draft for the sequel. Michael Elliot is currently in the business of rewriting scripts and getting them Hollywood ready.
The original film stared Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine, Lela Rochon and the late Whitney Houston. There is no confirmation on these actresses coming back for the film but its hard to imagine an of them passing up on the chance?
