The Emmy nominations have been announced. The award show will air on September 23rd, 2012 at 7pm eastern. While black women are missing from the list of Emmy nominations this year, 4 black men have been nominated in 4 separate categories. From left to right:
Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series – Giancarlo Esposito for his portrayal of “Gus Fring” in Breaking Bad
Best Actor in a Miniseries – Idris Elba for his portrayal of “John Luther” in Luther             Â
Best Actor in a Comedy Series – Don Cheadle for his portrayal of “Marty Kaan” in House of Lies
Outstanding Supporting Actor In a Comedy Series – Tracy Morgan for his portryaal of “Tracy Jordan” in 30 Rock
