Omar Epps Making Big Moves On and Off Screen In Romantic Comedy
Omar Epps is starring in a romantic comedy titled Between Us.
The latest scoop from BET says Epps is doing more than just acting in the film:
“Omar Epps is adding screenwriter and producer to his résumé with Between Us, a romantic comedy he wrote. Epps will also star in the film, described as a story about two best friends “looking for love in the wrong places with a contemporary twist,” and it will be produced with Tracey Edmonds. “
Omar Epps is wearing many hats as a writer, producer, and actor. Doesn’t he bring to mind you of multi-hat wearing mogul Tyler Perry? Epps, at 38 has been better known in the business for longer than Tyler Perry,age 42. How do you think the final result will compare to one of Perry’s films?
